THE PRACTICE
Founded in 2019, ARK is a multidisciplinary design studio in love with the process of making the imagined tangible. At the heart of ARK's approach is an awareness and sensitivity towards place and the needs of the people engaging there, ensuring the one compliments the other. Working closely with our clients, our mission is to deliver memorable spatial experiences while facilitating a stress-free and empowering process for our clients from conception to completion.

As principal architect, Kier is involved in all projects from inception to hand-over.
Kier graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Masters in Architecture, cum laude and top of his class, with awards including 'the best design for a commercial building' and 'the most comprehensively resolved major project', to name just two.
Kier went on to work for award winning, internationally recognised architecture, hospitality and property development firms. Such a wealth of experience has enabled Kier to be a business minded strategic partner to our client's while bringing an eye and flair for balancing function and beauty. Kier's experience in concept design, design development, detailing and on-site delivery, both locally and internationally, offers client's holistic design leadership in projects ranging in typology and scale.
